- Sanbonsugi Rocks(Setana)
Three rocks which can also be said to be a symbol of Setana.
The scene is fascinating which changes along with time as it passes.
"Sanbonsugi Rocks", the existence of the pointed form of these three huge rocks which tower up out of the Sea of Japan can also be called a symbol of Setana-cho.
The front and back of the upper stratum of these 30meter tall rocks are covered green with vegetation and pine trees. These rocks got their name as they looks exactly like three old cedar trees.
Of course during the day the scene is beautiful but the silhouette of these rocks glowing in the setting sun is also beautiful. A magical atmosphere is created at night when the rocks are lit up for a limited time.
